Privacy Policy

HANIJEMI (operated by EVERSTONE Co., Ltd., hereinafter "the Company") values the personal information of its users and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, and other applicable Korean laws. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your user ID, password, name, nickname and e-mail address. When you purchase a course or mock exam we receive payment confirmation data (order number, amount, payment method, transaction ID) from our payment providers (KCP via PortOne, PayPal). We do not store card numbers. While you use the service we automatically collect your IP address, browser type, access times, cookies and exam/answer records.

2. How we use it

To provide and improve the TOPIK practice service, to manage your account, to process payments and refunds, to deliver your exam results and study history, to answer inquiries, to send service notices, and to prevent fraud and misuse.

3. Retention

Personal information is deleted without delay once the purpose of collection has been achieved or you withdraw your membership, except where Korean law requires longer retention: records of contracts and payments (5 years), consumer complaints and dispute handling (3 years), and access logs (3 months).

4. Sharing and outsourcing

We do not sell or share personal information with third parties except with your consent or where required by law. Payment processing is outsourced to PortOne / NHN KCP and PayPal solely to complete transactions. Hosting is provided by Cafe24 Corp.

5. Your rights

You may view, correct or delete your personal information and withdraw your membership at any time from "My Page", or by contacting us at dev@evst.co.kr. Requests are handled without delay.

6. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your language preference and analyse site usage. You can refuse cookies in your browser settings; some features may then not work.

7. Security

Passwords are stored one-way encrypted. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and access to personal information is limited to authorised staff.

8. Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 without parental consent.
