Frequently asked questions

Q. Where should I start studying for TOPIK?
Start with the free questions to see your current level and decide on a target level. Then take one full past paper under real time limits to find your section scores, and practise your weakest section by question type.
Q. How many past papers should I do?
Different rounds under time limits beat repeating the same one. Do at least two or three like the real exam, write down the question type of every mistake, and practise that type again.
Q. My listening score is not improving.
Practise listening at real speed, once only. Read the question first and decide what to listen for, then check the transcript (explanation) afterwards and note every expression you missed. HANIJEMI past papers use the real audio.
Q. How do I prepare for TOPIK II writing?
For Q51–52, memorise sentence-connecting patterns. For Q53 learn the chart-description structure (intro, figures, comparison, summary) and for Q54 a fixed intro-body-conclusion frame of 600–700 characters, then practise writing within the time limit. HANIJEMI writing questions come with model answers.
Q. Are the HANIJEMI past papers really free?
Yes. A free account gives you all TOPIK I and II past papers with time limits and automatic scoring, with no expiry. Only the mock exams are paid (per round: TOPIK I 7,700 KRW / II 11,000 KRW, 3 months from payment).
Q. How long can I use a mock exam after paying?
Three months from the payment date. Find it under [My Page > Mock Exams]; you can take it several times within the period and print a score report.
Q. Can I pay from outside Korea?
Yes. Besides Korean cards (KCP) you can pay in US dollars with PayPal — choose the payment method on the payment page.
Q. What language are the video lessons in?
TOPIK I listening and reading lessons are narrated in Japanese; TOPIK II lessons (round 52 reading, round 60 listening, writing) are in Korean. All are free on YouTube.
